Restaurants in Highlands NC are part of this year’s dining fundraiser, Dining Out For Life. Taking place all over the state this event raises money for the Western North Carolina AIDS Project. This is the 13th year for the fundraiser, where restaurants donate 20% of their profits to the AIDS Project, which in turn focuses on prevention and outreach programming. If you are not in the mood to cook dinner Thursday evening or would simply like to enjoy a dinner at your favorite restaurant consider eating out for this worthy cause.
The Highlands restaurants taking part this year include On the Verandah, Wolfgang’s, and the Ugly Dog Pub. You have an opportunity to win prizes while supporting a worthy cause if you participate. This is a one night only event taking place in Highlands and around the state this Thursday, April 30th.
