The library in Highlands NC is a community amenity cherished by residents and visitors alike. Offering programs for children and adults, plenty of reading materials and access to technology the Hudson Library is a place to learn, be entertained and simply sit and enjoy. There is currently a fundraising challenge to raise money for the library to help it grow and expand with modern times.
The Winkler Challenge is underway, where the Winkler family has pledged a donation of $35,000 if fundraising efforts can raise an equal or larger amount. Currently the community of Highlands NC is showing its love for the library and stepping up to the challenge.
