Highlands NC Ready For Holiday Season
Highlands NC is ready for the holiday season. The tree has been lit, the parade has taken place and downtown offers the best shopping round. If you are looking for unique gifts, a cozy place for a lunch break or hot chocolate break our lovely mountain town will not disappoint. Whether you are charmed by the carolers cruising our Main Street or simply enjoying breathing in our fresh mountain air there is no place that will get you more in the mood for Christmas than Highlands.
If you would like to do more than shop you can get into the holiday spirit a number of ways in the Highlands community. Christmas in My Hometown is a musical celebration taking place Friday, December 9th, at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts in Nearby Franklin NC. Breakfast with Santa is a tradition not to be missed, taking place Saturday, December 10 at 9 am at the Highlands Methodist Church. Santa will be in the Park in Saturday as well. Join Santa at Kelsey-Hutchinson Park from 10 am to 3 pm this Saturday, December 10.
