There is a great music available on Saturdays this month in Highlands NC. September in Highlands is a wonderful time of year. The weather is beautiful as we transition from summer to fall and the hiking, fishing, and golf are exceptional. Saturdays on Pine takes place at the Kelsey Hutchinson Park in downtown Highlands, a perfect compliment to your daytime activities.
The Saturdays and Pine series kicks off at 6 pm. Last week the East Tennessee band Homemade Wine played. The group was a huge hit and the community looks forward to hearing the sounds of Fish Out of Water (F.O.W.), a a unique and entreating group that sings what is commonly known as RoPhunk RaeHop, a combination of rock, funk, reggae and hip hop. Pack a picnic, grab a blanket and join the Highlands community for great music this Saturday evening.
