Color trends show that gray is here to stay for Highlands NC homes. While certainly other colors are making the palette for 2019 one of them remains a mainstay – the color gray. A nice neutral that has been described as elegant, impactful, and subtle, a light shade of gray is a color embraced in Highlands NC homes and homes across the country.
Other colors trending in 2019
Other colors trending in 2019 include coral, clay, and a shade of blue called “Blueprint”. Blueprint is reminiscent of a darker slate blue and is expected to cover accent walls and more in the year ahead. Cavern Clay is the color of the year for Sherwin Williams and is described as a terra cotta shade.
Paint can certainly make an impact when preparing a Highlands NC home for sale. If you are considering listing your home in 2019 perhaps a new color update will hit the mark. The important thing to remember with color is to not let it overwhelm a room. If you are painting then color as an accent is helpful but keeping it neutral is better.
