The annual Highlands NC Fall Ceramics Sale takes place this weekend. The Bascom is hosting the event in the Dave Drake Studio Barn. The Ceramics Sale showcases the works of local artists and takes place a couple times a year. This fall show is much anticipated, offering a great opportunity for some early holiday shopping. A percentage of the proceeds from sales goes right back into programming at The Bascom, including classes and exhibits. The Bascom is a treasure for the Highlands NC community and the opportunity to purchase some original pieces is a true treat.
The Bascom Studio Artists’ Ceramics Sale will take place from 10 am to 5 pm this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 20 to 22. The event is not to be missed! At the sale you will be exposed to demonstrations in wheel-throwing, sculpting, face jugs, sgraffito, and hand-building. If you have ever wanted to explore working with clay this is a great opportunity to learn more.
