Don’t miss this Highlands NC Christmas Parade this Saturday, December 2. This fun event is a highlight of the season in our mountain community. The Parade kicks off at 11 but come early to set up for prime viewing. The entire Highlands NC community comes together to watch or participate and here you will have the chance to see old friends as well as to make new friends!
The Highlands NC Christmas Parade showcases the best of what our area has to offer, all ages coming together to kick off the holiday season with an old fashioned parade. There will floats and marching bands, kids and pets. One of the highlights of the parade is the dancing group of women, all members of the Highlands Garden Club. Of course no Christmas Parade would be complete without Santa and Mrs. Claus. Santa and Mrs. Claus will wave to the crowd. They will also be on hand after the parade for photos and the opportunity for children to share their wish list. The parade is one not to be missed!
