Highlands NC celebrates St Patrick’s Day this week. Friday, March 17, is St. Patrick’s Day and while people all around the nation celebrate with green beer while wearing green clothing the same will occur here in our mountain community. One of the special celebrations will take place here at the Old Edwards Inn and Spa. Whether you are of Irish heritage or simply want to have a great time you will enjoy the food and Irish drinks available both Friday and Saturday this week.
The St. Paddy’s Day celebrations will take place this Friday and Saturday, March 17 and 18. What can you expect? Irish themed cocktails and beers in the Hummingbird Lounge as well as in Madison’s Restaurant.Madison’s will also be serving Irish food. Going one step further you can enjoy an authentic Irish whiskey tasting on both Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 5pm in the Hummingbird Lounge. If you love St Patrick’s Day you will want to be in Highlands NC this weekend.
