This Highlands NC real estate spotlight is on Cullasaja Club. Cullasaja Club is a golf course community with a lot to offer. The community is named after the river that runs through the golf course, with Cullasaja being the Cherokee word for “sweet water”. This mountain community embraces natural beauty and offers an idyllic setting for homes.

There is no doubt that it is the golf course that attracts buyers to Cullasaja Club properties. The course was designed by Arnold Palmer. Here you will find a great balance. There is visual appeal combined with great playability. The fairways are generously sized and the greens offer just the right challenge. However, there is much more to do here than just golf.

Clubhouse appeal

The clubhouse in Cullasaja Club is a striking 14,000-square-foot facility overlooking the ninth green. Here you will find the pro shop, a dining room, a grill, and men’s and ladies’ locker rooms.
