Highlands real estate news is nothing but positive. This is following a national trend of increases in sales and home values; bringing a relief to sellers and a general faith that recovery is not only occurring but sticking. The real estate tracking website Trulia.com is currently displaying data for the three week period of March 6th through the 27th and Highlands real estate is looking good in all of its categories.
According to the data on Trulia home sales in Highlands are up 23.1% compared with the same 3 week period a year ago. In addition the average price per square foot for Highlands homes is up 1.1%. While the increase in price is not exceptionally noteworthy it is indicative of the general assumption that the bottom has indeed been hit. Our local market is on the upswing and sellers are breathing a sigh of relief.
