Break out your Easter Basket, there’s going to be an egg hunt in Highlands NC this Saturday, March 23rd. Easter just feels like the beginning of Spring here in our mountain community and the annual Village Easter Egg Hunt is a great way to share your enthusiasm of the change of seasons with old friends while having an opportunity to meet new neighbors and visitors at the same time.
The Village Green Easter Egg Hunt is for children under age 12. Anyone interested should should gather at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, March 23, at the Village Green Commons on Frank Allen Road. There will be a race to find the eggs, which are candy-filled and there will be a free hot dog lunch and prizes as well. The important things to remember include bringing your basket, being on time and remembering your camera. This is a Spring highlight, especially for the kids. So if you will be in Highlands NC this Saturday make your way down to the Village Green.
The annual Village Green Easter Egg Hunt is indicative of the sense of community that pervades the Highlands area. Contact me, Lynn Kimball, today to learn more about living in Highlands. I can get you started on your home search while you get to know our community at the same time.
